Carolina Skiing
North Carolina Ski Information And Resorts
The North Carolina High Country is known as
the ski capital of the South because of the four premier
resorts, Appalachian Ski Mtn., Ski Beech
and Sugar Mountain Resort all within 30 minutes
of one another.
North Carolina has the highest mountains east of the
Rockies and the ski season begins in mid-November and
usually runs through the month of March. There is also
Wolf Laurel, Sapphire Valley, Hawksnest,

for Spring Skiing.
Not only are these mountains great for downhill snow
skiing, but there are trails for tubing, snowboarding,
ski mobiling, sledding, and cross country. There are
time share resales throughout
the ski areas which will help turn the average ski vacation
into the ski trip of a lifetime.
Carolina Time Share has gathered information on the

added the major ski resorts in this section to help
make the decision to buy
